ROMEO News
The ROMEOS had a super turnout at our February meeting and were treated to a most informative, in depth "Washington Update" by our Congressman Dr. Tom Price. A robust "no holds barred" Q & A session followed. We are proud to welcome Dr. Price into the ranks of our growing Honorary ROMEOS.
Our March breakfast meeting will be Monday, March 11 at the Hickory House. We are honored to have Nancy Jester, our Dunwoody Representative on the Dekalb County Board Of Education as our speaker. The Dekalb County Board Of Education is making much negative news lately and Mrs. Jester's joining us could not come at a better time. This too, should be a meeting to remember. We look forward to seeing you.
For additional ROMEO info, please contact John Pleck, Chairman
Phone 770-396-6283 or E-mail john.pleck@yahoo.com

Strawberry Festival
Mark your calendar for June 1st. If anyone is interested in volunteering please contact Erin Barrett: erin9404@yahoo.com or Sheila Greear: Weil702@yahoo.com. Some of the Committees needing volunteers are: food, kids art, kids market, bake sale, directory/vmna dues, auction/raffle, ticket table, and set up/clean up.
Please start thinking about items that you can donate for the silent auction. Items can be event tickets, vacation houses, gift cards, services you want to volunteer, golf rounds, etc...
Children's raffle items can be collected now too. Look through your gift closet and also be on the look out for some great sales going on!

The Other Book Club
Let's do something a little different...Come out for a glass of wine without feeling guilty for not reading the book of the month! We will be meeting at Vino Venue in the Georgetown Kroger shopping center on Tuesday, March 19th at 7:30 pm for wine and conversation-no book choice for March. Evite will be coming out shortly to RSVP. Please email hydikalmin@gmail.com if you are not part of the regular
book club but want to join us- it's a great wine bar! Hope to see you then.
